In The Lap of Gods

Written by Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons

Sung by The English Chorale

Okay, this doesn't really fit under either "lyrics" or "narration". "In The Lap Of Gods" is an instrumental, but in the middle of the song, one line is performed by The English Chorale. That line is:

"Hail to the King, praise to the King and glory to His name forever, Gloria, Hosanna."

Alan says, "It was a reference to the pharaoh, meaning the King of the moment. I saw the opening part as being the building of the pyramids, the workers and the chain gangs. After the achievement, that was the glorification, if you like."
