The top story of course is the new album "The Time Machine", and the cover story looks at the roll-out of the album on various record companies worldwide.

Other big news included the touring plans, as well as coverage of the arrest of the man who was impersonating Stuart Elliott.

In this issue, the "Of Note:" section looks at the release of the new Austin Powers movie on video and DVD, plus updates on Paul McCartney, Iconic Phare and the progress on the new biography by Harry Doherty.

David Paton interview (Part 2):

In this, the conclusion of our interview with David Paton, we look at the period from 1975 to the present day. Highlights include his work with Pilot, Fish and Elton John, as well as how he started to work with APP and why he left.

What about tour dates in Israel?

AP and Roy Wood: I want to know a little about their collaborations as engineer and producer on the “Boulders” and “Wizzards Brew” albums.

What is your latest technological "toy" and how are you using it in your work?

"I think I would have to say hard disk recording, which is the new thing. I have a system called Pro Tools. It's essentially a 16 output hard disk recorder, which means that you can see the audio on the screen and you can grab the audio and cut and paste it, and add effects to it. It's an audio system that gives results that would be much harder to achieve with a linear system like tape. In pure terms of technical quality, their system is capable of resolving 24 bit, which means you get a very high quality result on the final mix."
