The fourth issue of The Avenue was released on February 29, 1996. Contents included:
The front page starts with stories of the band's 1995 world tour: a look at guest artists, their appearance at "Nudestock", and the change of band members mid-tour. Re-release notes include the "Ladyhawke" soundtrack, and Mobile Fidelity's gold disc version of the "Sound Check" album. Also noted was the relocation of Alan's studio and the Westwood One broadcast.

In this issue, the "Of Note:" section looks at career updates on:Ambrosia, Gary Brooker, and the "Ladyhawke" soundtrack.
Ian talks about his childhood and how he wanted to be a guitarist from a young age. In this issue we cover the period from birth, to his first bands, through to the formation of Pilot.
In part four of the historical section, Alan looks back at his days with Paul McCartney, how he met Stuart Elliott during a Steve Harley session, and the early days of Pilot.
The question and answer section looks at six questions including:
Genesis C.1 V.32 (from "I Robot). The is no V.32 in Genesis Ch.1! The last one is V.31. What is the story behind this mystery?
Where can I get a copy of the "Freudiana" book that Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson and Brian Brolly wrote?
What does "Ammonia Avenue" refer to?
What are the words sung by the chorus in "In The Lap of Gods"?
Is there a video collection available?
Will either Chris Rainbow or Colin Blunstone ever sing on any future Parsons recordings?
In this issue, there was only one discography page. The second page was displaced by a special insert to be used with US copies of "The Very Best of Live". The special CD insert had the lyrics to the three new songs, list of vocalists on the album, locations where all live tracks were recorded, and a guide to who's who in the photos on page nine of the regular insert.
Contest prizes in this issue included: the "Ladyhawke" soundtrack on CD, Pilot singles autographed by Ian Bairnson and more items autographed by Alan Parsons!
This, and much more appeared in Issue Four of The Avenue!
